I wasn't sure of the rules so I found some online - these particular rules say you can add color if you choose but the whole point of Inktober is to pick up a pen, a scrap of paper or drawing on any surface that you pick such as a wall.... and just do it, do something every day in October. So I added some color to my sketch. I also read that it can be digital drawing so this is a combination - mostly pen but then i went over the black with digital black ink and added color on beaks and feet(s)
