Bliss

Long Day over!!!
It's 9.30 pm
And I've just realeased oedematous feet out of tight work shoes
Bliss is .........
A bulldog licking every inch of each foot with a tongue reminiscent of  warm tripe
as I sip a very large gin and tonic
And smell of tiredness

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS

I read through the comments below and I appreciate the support I felt in them to continue with the story so heck yeah ..thank you!     Your comments might be the inspiration that inspires me to see where  their relationship goes.  It will be fun for me.

As a side note while I gather my thoughts and pencils for the next sketch - Griffin is Neil's cat, actually he was Sarah's cat, and doesn't much care to hang out with Neil.

The cat  doesn't require much attention; just a comfortable bed by a window,  his meals and daily treats.  He isn't a cat who seeks human  warmth and comfort as much as he seeks solitude.  But,  what he does seek is someone to keep his litter box clean.  He loathes (yes cats loathe evidently) stepping into his box when it is dirty.  He lets Neil know it's time by leaving him presents by his bedroom door...If anything can get Neil up and out of bed and moving through the day it is the presents Neil leaves him.

Griffin may look like a lazy cat but he has quite an active cat mind and finds his thrills in life through his dreams.

Time will tell if Griffin will accept a new  female or even feline  in the house or whether he and Neil will bond in a some unexpected special way.

(old sketch updated new.  Griffin was a real cat back in the mid 2000's - my son brought home two, brother and sister  ..girl cat  named Sabine after an adorable triology of books called Griffin and  Sabine a story told in pictures and notebooks by the author - wikipedia describes it all)...  so this sketch is about 14 years old..this is what Griffin looked like)
