John The Dogs

And I did 

Me, Winnie and my old dogs William , George and Meg

All having a lie in a couple of years ago 

Winnie looks mighty proud does she not?

So do I 

I miss my lost dogs

I've always missed them all

DAVID IF HE WERE HUMAN - WHAT IS HE THINKING

I  painted this back in 2008 with watercolor and then used a "posterize" effect on it.  I have so much art from the past that just sits around in folders. I don't remember why I painted "David" except I was practicing on portraits  and would choose one a day for awhile.  I remember painting Obama when he was on the campaign trail for his presidency, I painted Hillary, Sarah Palin and some other politicians.

About today - so far the only activity around here has been the noise from the trash truck and I've seen some people walk down the road that I haven't seen before and are probably renting a cabin for the weekend.  That can mean only one thing - (or not) ...but they will probably be partying tonight or tomorrow night. 

 Last weekend there was a group up above our road and  a woman that must have laughed over everything being said.  She had one of those high shrill laughs that echoed throughout the area.  Thank God for windows that close and fans that can be turned on high which drown out the noise.  For the most part only nature noises happen around here at night so when a party is happening you feel like you are in the middle of it.
