SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO LET LOOSE - IF YOU'RE MY AGE THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT

Partying is not an option, lol.   I feel energized by the weather which I'm going out in  a few minutes to enjoy however,  I know during this busy Memorial Day weekend with the stores and restaurants opening - the flowers are going to go crazy with all the pent up energy being let loose around the lake.   It has been so serene and sweet and such up until the last week as the weather and freedom to roam is bringing more and more people into town.    I'll find a "road less traveled" up here to walk.  That's the advantage of being a resident, you know where to go.

Flip Flop

Over two days of twelve hour shifts I have run the gauntlet of PPE
I'm not complaining , it's just a statement of fact
IMAGINE a large pink hairy pig being squeezed into a flaccid sky blue  condom
Add to the mix a tight plastic mask , the size of a large breathless yogurt pot, clinging blue latex gloves and a steamed up visor which looked as though it may have been born in Chenobyl and you may get the gist of what I have looked like since early yesterday morning.
One of my colleagues , whilst finally helping to  peel the sweaty plastic mess from my slug like body summed it up thus
" Jesus!!!!!You smell like fucking  Gandi 's Flip Flop!"

I NEVER TIRE SEEING THE MURAL OVER AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER BY THE LAKE

I think I posted these before on a different blog. 

A local artist (and I can't remember her name) painted these.  A different artist painted the murals on the wall at our local grocery store which are of local mountain scenes.  I will get photos of those next time I'm at the store because I have no idea where to find them in my photo files.

No matter what city or town I'm driving through I always take photos of whatever murals I see.  Do you have favorite murals you see in your city? 

I think I'll post them once in awhile on my art blog as I come across them again.
