R's rue

(personally, myself, I was interested to find out what was growing wild this spring and past springs - this plant that seems to cover almost any bare spot in my yard in the most shadiest parts and appears to grow best in shade.   I recently learned it was miner's lettuce and apparently Maria has also known about it;)

(turning another random page in her many journals/diaries.) I would love to live where Maria lives.   I'm wondering if I can dream myself there and enjoy her garden.   I would certainly help in any search needed to find that little fox and get it help.

I gave it a lot of thought and realized Maria would enjoy having Bentley around to take for walks and as a companion.  The only problem is, will the cats be okay with their new housemate.

Another random page out of one of Maria's diaries/sketchbooks. (I notice while walking at the lake(s) lately, the thistle is starting to bloom.  Today we are in the 80's but by tomorrow we are dropping back down to about 68 during the day and cool nights for a few days). Seems like Maria has also discovered that the thistle in her garden is blooming.

So on a summer day it was nice to take a look at another diary page.   In this one I see there is no mention of odd occurrences  happening in her life.   She seemed a bit melancholy but a little gardening made her feel thankful.
