LAURA - DID TWO VERSIONS OF YOUR FRONT PORCH SKETCH

My version of that front porch photo you had posted.

Not really happy with either of my versions.  We were getting ready yesterday for more of Hunter's friends and him coming in for the night.  I wasn't really all that inspired or motivated to draw but I did.

I think I like the simpler looking version -

i played around with both sketches in my Corel program - they were drawn quickly with pen, pen and colored pencil first.  These poor flowers do not look like the beautiful hydrangeas in the photograph.

Last year it started on September 1, and goes through Halloween. I know we will be in Big Bear on Halloween night (something I love to do) and eventually we will go to the beach areas in September.

Thought of you Jan when I saw this video again.  Realized there are two Jans that visit here  - Jan #1 I've known several years and Jan#2 - for a year or so.  Jan #1 is quite the artist and loves Halloween.  Jan #2 has great recipes  - low carb . I enjoy both their blogs.
