I might even keep my eye out for some art for my yard, maybe looking through thrift stores.
One of my favorite memories of my very "loved" house I had before I sold was my yard and the characters I would put around. These two sat on this table for a long time in a part of my yard and whenever I saw them sitting there i remember feeling so grateful to have a yard I could work in and transform with a simple long day of work but enjoyable.... to create a new space for sitting - moving rocks around, making little areas to put a table or pots. (run on sentence) ..whew!
Just looking at the photo now I remember thinking they always looked like they were laughing at me and talking about me. I have no clue whatever happened to the frog but the rock which was a "key" rock where I could hide a key inside - was cracked and broken by a tree limb or some such thing in a heavy wind.
So today , besides going to a botanical garden I plan on keeping my eye out for the perfect little piece of yard art to "transform" (thanks for the idea Rain) my yard. Can't wait to get down the mountain to some warm temps - where we are going it will be close to 70 degrees or so.
