(I would have loved to have met Emerson - He was quite the guy with his beliefs and such.  An hour or two of listening to his philosophy would have been nice .  He wrote "

I like to pick a subject here and there to learn more about something than I knew before I researched it.  These last two days i have been reading more about Emerson that I had ever known.   I was one of those students who didn't really pay attention in school and I never knew that i loved learning until I got older and then...the internet - how can one ever leave it alone.  It seems I get a thought and I have to go find out all I can about it.    Do you find this  is something you relate to since the internet became a thing.

anyway........

So some days sketching just doesn't work for me.  This was one of those days.  i tried to do a sketch with five birds and it didn't work so I cropped it down to two.
Never let a sketch go to waste even if it's a messy one.

Subsequently I'm a bit bored.
The girls have just been taken out by the sexy bearded dog walker and are all wet and doggy smelling
