That it has been over five years since I did my Sea Gull challenge.
So in 2014, I started these challenges where I would take 24 hours to see how many of a particular theme I could draw. One time it was seagulls, next it was acorn woodpeckers, another time it was something else, parakeets I believe.
Since I can't seem to focus lately on what to draw I went looking through my art and remembered about these challenges.
I think I found something I can get into again - a timed challenge. Not sure what it will be yet but I'm getting the motivation to find out.
How's life going for you? Our weather has been pretty nice and I've actually gotten out lately for some good long walks which is what I've really needed to stay centered and motivated ...inspired, yes that's the word.
Anyway, just posting an old sketch to put a new post up on my page. Next post for sure will be a new sketch with whatever I've decided to do a 24 hour challenge.
But, getting back to time - 2014 - how can this possibly be six years ago - it feels really like about 3 or 4. If I find time passing by this fast at the age I am, what is it going to be like within the next ten years - kind of freaks me out a little, ...like why clean the house, I will just have to do it again in 2021.
