I got the sketch done before my deadline for the 18th. I had to work on it tonight as we were out all day. I wanted to just forget about sketching but if I had I would have disappointed myself greatly.
I looked through my photos and came across this little dog I photographed one day through the window of the doggy day care section of the pet hotel where we take our cat for boarding while we are away.
There were a lot of dogs this particular day, but this dog jumped up on a table right by the window which looks into the lobby desk where we check the cat in.
It looks like his "mama" keeps his body shaved for some reason and I find it cute.
So tomorrow we will be busy again but I will definitely get a sketch done even if it's at 10 o'clock at night.
The deluge of rain ended during the night and our local lake filled up with much needed water. We were all over the mountain today looking at the various lakes and how things recovered after the storm.
Another weekend ahead - wow...this is happening too fast.
