HELLO TO YOU

I've been back since last Tuesday and enjoying being home again although I haven't been motivated to do any sketching.  It always feels so good to be home after almost a week away.  It was a beautiful time of year to go to Washington and I had such a good time with my family.

I came across the illustration below awhile back and I love to look at it to identify various tree leaves in fall.  This was created by Kristin Link and if you click on her last name it will take you to her blog.  I hope she doesn't mind that I posted this photo on my blog.

I enjoy her website and it's worth a look - I notice she has a wild pesto recipe that sounds delicious!  Pesto is my very favorite sauce ever.

So how's it going and are you seeing any dramatic tree colors in your area.  I love this time of year and am always out and about photographing the beauty of fall.

Here is a photo of one of my favorite places to go and watch the leaves turn as I sit across the lake at one of the outside eating areas or walk through LakeArrowhead Village.

hope u all have an amazing week ahead and let the magic happen as it always does in fall.
