The planet turned slowly on its axis. People died and babies were born but still there was a  delay to the announcement of the overall Laughing Horse Blogger of the Year for 2023. Whatever happened may remain a mystery for ever. Was it really a technical error? Or was it to do with internal disputes and rancour within the organising committee? Anyway, without further ado, I can now happily inform readers of this humble Yorkshire blog that the Laughing Horse Blogger of the Year for 2023 is....  New day New year New blessings One of the best things to come out of the last year has been friendship. One of these new friends text me at five in the morning to text me that they were praying for me. I won’t go into the rest of the message, but for all the anger, sorrow and sadness in the world; this message started my New Year off right.
