ANOTHER HOUSE SKETCH FROM MY CHILDHOOD NEIGHBORHOOD IN KANSAS CITY

I finally stayed in and did a sketch of another house on the same street as the last one I did a few weeks ago.  Actually this house was right next door.  A lady was out watering the front yard so I left her out and put some cats in.   The first house was on a corner and this was right next to it.

HALLOWEEN UP IN BIG BEAR WAS A COLORFUL EXPERIENCE

Just like last year it was beautiful weather - cool, crisp, and colorful and a touch scary.  We were going to go to Lake Arrowhead this year and watch the stage show of "Thriller" but at the last minute when we were on the hwy I said let's just go on up - another probably 35 minutes or so from where we were on the hwy.

I was glad we went and I took a lot of photos and will share a few here because of how beautiful it was up there.

We got there early and I walked around town getting photos before it got too crowded and by the end of the couple of hours we were there the street was filling up.

There was a Mother cow who showed up with her family (I have more pics of that later) and I spotted a beautiful Island girl walking around (I was able to get a close up of that costume which was so colorful and pretty), a wizard and of course many other cool characters.  I saw this old guy on a scooter who I photographed later on coming down the road with a scary mask on.
Anyway here are a few photos of a colorful Halloween in the mountains. More photos in the next post.
