I realized that the main focus of life for me as far as news-wise - were all the fires in 2018 in California, Oregon, Washington, Canada and elsewhere.
When I would be on the internet a lot of the news I would look up would be in regard to fires. They were of interest to me because I live in Southern California in the mountains and I often thought about the traffic jams that could occur up here during a wildfire evacuation.
I definitely am thankful no major fires occurred here during the years we have lived here in the mountains and I truly hope all those who have been displaced by the fires recover as much as possible in 2019.
