I found this old illustration I did a long time ago of a giraffe parent and kid - which fits my mood today.
Whenever we have to go down the mountain to do our monthly shopping I start to get excited, like a kid would when she gets to go exploring. Mike gets this look like "oh God, we're going to have to drive all over the place to visit her favorite spots."
I figure as long as we are down doing our shopping why not! I love to walk through old neighborhoods and my camera always gets a work out.
So besides the places I enjoy going to, we also have to go to Aldi, Trader Joe's and Walmart but at least we don't have to go into Costco this month.
But before we leave, since I'm on a roll - I'm going to get over to the lake and do a quick walk.
