MORE FUN WITH MY ART

I've been out of touch for awhile.   First I was at the central coast for five days (visiting my sister) and came home to what appeared to be my war torn town.  The weather people called our storm a Snow Cyclone or some such thing.  What happened was the winds were so strong and the snow drop  (at least more than what we have experienced up here) - that trees were blown down hitting power lines and much of the mountain range communities and all of our town lost electricity for I think it was pretty much five days or so and there are still some areas without power going on the seventh day I think.    We only experienced power loss for about four days and intenet for five.   It's amazing if you experience a prolonged loss of electricity how much  you find out you depend on power.

There is still much work being done up here to restore everything back to normal but the amount of trees and big branches that are down will take a long time for people to clean up.  We have a big mess  in our yard but looking at what came down, kind of  makes me happy because a lot of the trees needed to be trimmed so nature did it.   We only rent here and will do what we can to help clean up but when we sold our house we gave all our yard equipment to our kids thinking that we would probably end up in a condo somewhere which didn't happen.    So, no new art to post but a couple old ones that include snow in them.

I'll be doing catch up your blogs to see what I've missed lately.
