Around 2015 or so I did a real sketchy mess of these two walking down a path.
I decided i wanted to update it to about 2017 - which is when Erin's hair was a little shorter and Hannah was a little taller than the 2015 sketch. Since they live at the beach I changed up the scene to put them on a cliff path.
Now since I've spent half a day updating this I can get out and get my walk/hike in.
Erin, up until September worked for many years at a hotel in Pismo Beach and the path I illustrated is similar to the "feel" of walking down to the beach from the hotel. We use to stay at the hotel she worked at every time we would go up to visit over Thanksgiving. Since she isn't there anymore we will be staying at a different place, actually closer to her house. I will still get up in the mornings and go over to the beach to photograph the egrets and seagulls.
