Updating an oldie. I can feel inspiration getting closer for a new sketch. Every photo I look at on the net keeps inspiring me but I override it with the desire to get outside. There will come a time in the near future (snow weather) where I'll be in a lot and then I can get busy sketching.
Do you get inspired by fall? Do you cook comfort foods or knit sweaters or something. Do you look at leaves on the ground and think about creating earthy art... or look at your cute dog or cat lying around all cozy and say to them ... get your butt up and get outside and play?
Does Autumn feel like your favorite season?
I happened to go into the Dollar store yesterday when we were down the hill shopping and saw all the October festive "stuff". I had to hold myself back not to buy a lot of useless trinkets that would eventually be something I need to give away next time I pack to move somewhere. But, it is fun to decorate. I just don't do it anymore.
What I did get and I really really like is something I would have never expected to ...coming from a dollar store. it is Arm and Hammer Shower gel. It isn't like the usual inexpensive shower gels (ahem...Suave type) that you put on your hand and it runs down into the drain before you can use it. This is actually a good one. So every month when we are shopping I stock up on this shower gel.
