HENRY IS DONE WITH SAN FRANCISCO

For more years that he can count he has played the role of Mrs. Doubtfire at a local theater near Market St. in San Francisco.   Five nights a week he would be on stage and then the other two nights would be spent at his apartment a few miles from the theater wallowing in self pity, loneliness and Stouffer meals.

Between the ever growing homeless situation in the city, the high cost of rent which seems to increase every year, the random violence, and the insane wildfires breaking out all over the city and  surrounding mountains he is considering moving to the desert.

The theater has closed down during Covid and although he still loves to cross dress and go out at night, he can't even afford a car anymore.  He has taken to using public transportation and isn't even sure how he would move and what it would cost to relocate.  He feels trapped but recently there is a small almost silent voice in his head telling him to trust   and he asks himself ...trust what?

At once a feeling overcomes him and what he senses is what so many on the planet are coming to realize - Peace is present - peace is when you let go of the fear and even if you just allow a tiny bit of trust that all will be well, all will be transformed in the twinkling of an eye.  The element of trust, he is told, increases the visibility of what's true and reveals the illusions that fear has created.

He at once feels a peace he has never in his life known - and he notices how when he thought it was dark the light illuminated all around him.
